摘要: We report 12 cases of primary sclerosing cholangitis (confirmed by cholangiography) in which the serum alkaline phosphatase activity was normal. The enzyme remained normal during follow-up 7 and fluctuated 5 (it returned to 4). presence advanced histologic stage (fibrosis/cirrhosis) with marked cholangiographic changes 4 patients establishes that cirrhotic-stage can occur without a concomitant increase activity. Therefore, may exist an occult state symptoms or Our findings suggest be more prevalent than realized, especially who have inflammatory bowel disease. A value for should not preclude further investigation disease when signs liver
