摘要: Background The Flex Robotic System is a new robotic device specifically developed for transoral surgery (TORS). Methods We performed prospective clinical study, assessing the safety and efficacy of Medrobotics System. A total 40 patients required surgical procedure benign lesions (n = 30) or T1 T2 carcinomas 10). Access visualization different anatomic subsites were individually graded by surgeon. Setup times, access results, as well adverse events documented intraoperatively. Results The could be exposed visualized properly in 38 (95%) who went on to have with System, which intraoperatively evaluated successful. No serious occurred. Conclusion Lesions oropharynx, hypopharynx, supraglottic larynx successfully resected using thus making system safe effective tool surgery. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Head Neck 39: 471–475, 2017
