摘要: Recognition of Palaeoproterozoic subduction-induced continental collision and Mesoproterozoic rifting within the Great Proterozoic Fold Belt (GIPFOB) India supports existence Columbia. The Eastern Ghats Granulite (EGGB) is an important component GIPFOB a key player in models configuration supercontinent. southern segment EGGB records widespread 1.85–1.7 Ga subduction-related arc magmatism 1.5–1.35 Ga rift-zone igneous activity. Kondapalli Layered Complex associated felsic mafic granulites show unambiguous bulk-rock geochemistries appear to represent deeply eroded remnants continental-margin magmatic arc. Kandra Ophiolite (KOC), containing well-developed sheeted-dike complex plagiogranite, characterizes new oceanic crust formed suprasubduction-zone environment. Internal structures, lithological associations, compositions indicate that KOC represents Roc...
