摘要: Multiple molecular mechanisms act in concert to control the timing and magnitude of neural differentiation. Throughout cortical development, precursors' environment plays a major role these processes. We now understand how many environmentally derived cues their signaling pathways converge regulate precursor maintenance, expansion, differentiation, allowing for exponential generation types neurons ensuring maintenance sufficient precursors produce glial cells adult stem cells. It is becoming apparent that disruption processes key may be an important ontogenic mechanism developmental neurological disorders.
