摘要: Drought is most often encountered as a long-running and recurring climatic extreme; one that can have devastating environmental, social economic impacts. While drought routine feature of the Australian climate, politics are highly reactive, support programs notoriously ad hoc ineffective. In context emergent global recognition climate change, has received renewed political attention presents significant opportunities for change. this paper, we review policy in Australia. Yet seek to provide unique contribution current debates by considering perspectives those people at forefront drought; particular, living working small rural towns drought-affected areas. The aim paper use case study present an account policies from who targets such interventions.
