摘要: In this study, we selected 181 nematode glycogenes that are orthologous to human and examined their RNAi phenotypes. The results deposited in the Caenorhabditis elegans Glycogene Database (CGGDB) at AIST, Tsukuba, Japan. most prominent phenotypes observed disruptions of cell cycle progression germline mitosis/meiosis early embryonic mitosis. Along with previously reported roles chondroitin proteoglycans, glycosphingolipids GPI-anchored proteins progression, show for first time inhibition functions N-glycan synthesis genes (cytoplasmic alg genes) resulted abnormal formation, ER stress small body size provide additional information on glycoconjugates mechanisms cells.
