摘要: Abstract The photocatalytic destruction of several classes organic dyes utilizing highly concentrated solar energy is reported. Several commercial samples anatase TiO 2 varying in particle size and purity were studied to determine catalytic activity with Degussa P25 grade being the most active. When immobilized on glass beads it remained rate extent decomposition compounds determined by UV/Vis spectroscopy High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Complete mineralization was confirmed total carbon analysis as well wuantitative measurements CO various inorganic ions. In general, sulfur converted sulfate ions nitrogen ammonium and/or nitrate effect increasing flux radiation dye also studied. There a dramatic increase increased from 15 “suns” (solar simulator) 150 dish concentrator) slightly greater than square root flux. This work suggests that potential exists for use sunlight removal textile biological stains wastewater.
