摘要: In recent years, the advent of new imaging technologies has enabled researchers to portray development metastases in animal models a light. Previously, observing behaviour metastatic cells required sacrifice and thus progress or treatment is often incomplete necessarily elucidated from sequential sacrifices inbred animals. Considering technical difficulties visualizing individual by traditional immunohistochemical staining methods, understanding critical first steps micrometastatic was difficult impractical. New technologies, particular ability force interest fluoresce amongst dull background, have visualize host organisms. These conjunction with new, non-lethal intravital contributed greatly body knowledge regarding malignant metastases. This chapter will discuss several more popular methods such as luciferase, green fluorescent protein, MRI, CT, PET, analyze advantages limitations each method.
