Export Performance and Revealed Comparative Advantage of Developing and Developed Economies for Textile Fibers or Fabrics

摘要: The foremost aim of the present study was to disclose comparative advantage between developed and developing economies for years 2006-2015. After careful introspection, among various indices, Balassa’s Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) index chosen product commodities with HS code 50-55 were selected authenticate compatibility textile industry countries. It found that 51 (wool, animal hair, horsehair yarn fabric thereof) having higher RCA over economies. But silk, cotton, manmade fibers filaments, have favorable conditions worldwide export. observed in year 2009, maximum cotton /filaments within ten years. values tend decrease minimum 2015 Vegetable fibresnes, paper yarn, woven fiber/filaments.
