摘要: If the Higgs mass mH is as low suggested by present experimental information, Standard Model ground state might not be absolutely stable. We a detailed analysis of lower bounds on imposed requirement that electroweak vacuum sufficiently long-lived. perform complete one-loop calculation tunnelling probability at zero temperature, and we improve it means two-loop renormalization-group equations. find that, for = 115 GeV, potential develops an instability below Planck scale mt > (166±2) but long-lived formt < (175 ± 2) GeV.
