摘要: A system for local metal distortion correction using an accurate electromagnetic tracking in a medical environment is disclosed containing field generator monitoring device having suitable sensor coil wherein function, derived from error tool, applied to the position and orientation readings of coil. The tool consists number sensors arranged fixed known geometric configuration placed surrounding site procedure. Sensor data displayed on imaging system. In addition, mapping can be done utilizing optical relative positioning along with sensor.
