摘要: ABSTRACTThis article explores informal science education (ISE) for rural migrant children in the Chinese context. Many of them are restricted from public schools due to political exclusions enforced by household registration system and their economic standing. As a result, they often enrolled quasi-legal with limited access science. In response, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) have stepped implement ISE projects. Applying gift exchange theory organized non-profit undertakings, I examine three types programs ways reinforcing neoliberal logic competition, selfresponsibility self-governance.
