摘要: Ultrafast polarization-sensitive infrared (IR) spectroscopy of the CO stretching mode chromophore green fluorescent protein reveals a near complete twisting around ethylenic bridge between phenolate and imidazolidinone groups upon electronic excitation, hinting at decisive role this motion in efficient internal conversion process.
