摘要: This study utilized two radiation scatter interactions in order to differentiate malignant from non-malignant breast tissue. These were Compton scatter, used measure the electron density of tissues, and coherent obtain a structure. Measurements these parameters made using laboratory experimental set-up comprising an x-ray tube HPGe detector. The tissue samples investigated comprise five different classifications: adipose, malignancy, fibroadenoma, normal fibrous that had undergone fibrocystic change. spectra analysed peak fitting routine, technique involving multivariate analysis was combine fitted profile values into classification model. number variables model refined by finding sensitivity specificity each concentrating on differentiating between tissues at time. best formulated 54% 100%.
