The effectiveness of various irrigation protocols on organic tissue removal from simulated internal resorption defects

摘要: AIM To evaluate the effectiveness of NaOCl, NaOCl-EDTA and NaOCl + HEBP activated by ultrasonics XP-endo Finisher on organic tissue removal from simulated internal root resorption cavities. METHODOLOGY The canals 144 single-rooted teeth were instrumented. split longitudinally, semicircular cavities prepared in canal walls each half roots. Samples obtained ground bovine muscle weighed adapted into fragments reassembled cemented to create a circular cavity within canal. Teeth divided twelve groups (n = 12) according irrigation protocols: group 1: no activation; 2: passive ultrasonic (PUI); 3: Finisher; 4: NaOCl-EDTA, 5: PUI; 6: 7: NaOCl + HEBP, 8: 9: 10: distilled water, 11: 12: Finisher. disassembled, remaining inside weighed. data analysed statistically using two-way anova Fisher's LSD tests with significance level 0.05. RESULTS use experimental solutions resulted greatest weight loss compared other activation protocols (P < 0.001). There was significant difference between NaOCl terms removal. CONCLUSION mixture an effective regimen for removing tissues artificial straight teeth.
