摘要: Allergen labelling for foods continues to be an active issue the UK government despite current distractions.1 Representatives from allergy patient organizations and British Society of Allergy Clinical Immunology (including myself) met Environment Secretary, Michael Gove, at end November. Also present were officials Food Standards Agency representatives food industry. The meeting was very constructive with lots common ground. Our understanding is that will run consultation exercise in early 2019 a view bringing improved allergen later 2019. Let us hope BREXIT politics do not get way this plan.
