摘要: Epibenthic communities and their diets, at Culbin Sands (a cold-temperate coastal lagoon in the Moray Firth, northeastern Scotland), were sampled every 2-4 wks for 3 yrs (1994-1996). These more abundant diverse warmer months, especially less-exposed areas of lagoon. The most common species brown shrimp Crangon crangon, shore crab Carcinus maenas, teleost fish (sandeel Ammodytes tobianus, sticklebacks Gasterosteus aculeatus Spinachia spinachia, seascorpion Myoxocephalus scorpius, gobies Pomatoschistus microps minutus, flounder Platichthys flesus, plaice Pleuronectes platessa). Diets these epibenthic predators included benthic infauna (especially polychaetes Eteone longa, Pygospio elegans, Fabricia sabella; oligochaetes Tubificoides benedini; isopods Eurydice pulchra; bivalves Cerastoderma edule Macoma balthica), small organisms (amphipods Bathyporeia pilosa Gammarus sp., juvenile crabs maenas crangon), zooplankton (harpacticoids, ostracods mostly Cypris calanoid copepods, mysids Praunus flexuosus, eggs larvae). Insect larvae (Chironomidae) also stomach contents predators. In fact, prey items with higher indices relative importance (brown shrimp, gobies, plaice) insect amphipods harpacticoids (larvae siphons adult individuals) plaice. Brown goby, had daily consumption levels 1%, 3%, 2.5% own body wet weights, respectively. Energy flows 150, 68, 65 kJ m -2 yr -1 estimated from invertebrates to plaice, equivalent efficiencies 30%, 15%, respectively, standing stock such as amphipods.
