摘要: A central ingredient in establishing the properties of newly discovered Higgs-like boson is to isolate its production via vector fusion (VBF). With typical experimental selection cuts, VBF sample contaminated by a 25% fraction from Higgs + 2 jet gluon (ggF) which has large perturbative uncertainties. We perform detailed study uncertainties NLO predictions for pp -> H+2 jets ggF used ATLAS and CMS collaborations, with cuts their current H gamma analyses. discuss detail application so-called "ST method" estimating fixed-order this case, also consider generalizations it. Qualitatively, our results apply equally other decay channels similar cuts.
