摘要: PURPOSE The predictive and prognostic value of cheap, easily accessible commonly available complete blood count parameters has already been studied in a variety cancers. In the present study, we aimed to investigate association between pretreatment platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR) metastatic gastric cancer. METHODS records 228 patients dating from January 2010 June 2014 were retrospectively evaluated. Patients who had undergone radical (N=157) or palliative gastrectomy (N=71) for cancer included divided into two groups according stage (early-advanced) metastasis (absence-presence) status, PLR values compared. RESULTS 38 (16.6%) early (non cases). advanced (not including cases) significantly higher compared (231.6±107.45 160.3±71.5, respectively; p<0.001). Seventy one (31.1%) distant metastasis. than non-metastatic (251.0±94.8 192.7±88.8, Logistic regression analysis showed that was an independent factor tumor burden both (p<0.001 p=0.003, respectively). Also, correlation analysis, mild with (r=0.291 r=0.299, CONCLUSIONS Pretreatment correlated burden, most detected disease. Our findings may be useful, especially decision-making laparoscopic staging have no radiological evidence
