摘要: d-Lactate is a valued chemical which can be produced by some bacteria including Klebsiella pneumoniae. However, only few studies have focused on K. pneumoniae for d-lactate production with significant amount of by-products, complicated the purification process and decreased yield d-lactate. Based redirection carbon towards by-product formation, effects single-gene multiple-gene deletions in from glucose via acetolactate synthase (budB), acetate kinase (ackA), alcohol dehydrogenase (adhE) were tested. mutants had different behaviours. The accumulation main by-products was mutants. triple mutant strain most powerful ability to produce optically pure glucose, tested xylose arabinose as sources. Fed-batch fermentation also carried out under various aeration rates, accumulated 125.1 g/L 0.91 g/g at 2.5 vvm. Knocking synthesis genes remarkable influence This study demonstrated, first time, that has great potential convert monosaccharides into results provide new insights industrial
