Magnetic properties of Co1-M Pt3 (M  Mn, Fe) compounds with competing interactions

摘要: Abstract Magnetic properties of the pseudo-binary Co 1- x M Pt 3 (M  Mn, Fe) compounds have been investigated. Under adequate preparation conditions, these display L1 2 structure. For Mn magnetic phase diagram presents a continuous ferromagnetic region from CoPt to MnPt with re-entrant spin glass (RSG) emerging at low T and H between = 0.2 0.6. Fe, (SG) separates on Co-rich side, antiferromagnetic Fe-rich side. The results are qualitatively discussed in terms three dominant competing interactions J CoCo , CoM MM .
