摘要: Background: Total hip arthroplasty (THA) in patients on long-term hemodialysis may result a high prevalence of complications which related to nature the disease, and associated cardiovascular conditions. However, total knee artrhopalsty (TKA) those is not clear. The purpose this study was retrospectively evaluate early mortality TKA performed with dialysis. Methods: We evaluated 15 dialysis (18 knees) who underwent using antibiotic-loaded cement fixation. Fourteen had maintained one patient continuous ambulatory peritoneal function before operation postoperatively Knee Society evaluating system. Postoperative were recorded for all patients. average follow up period 25 months (6 59 months). Results: There no mortalities including short-term (≤90 days) or (>90 up. mean scores improved from preoperative 36 points (27~46) 19.4 (10~35) 79 (68~87) 81 (70~95) respectively at latest One (6.7%) postoperative pneumonia days). late complica-tion rate 20% 1 sepsis toe gangrene, recurrent stroke acute myocardiac infarction. deep prosthetic joint infection loosening components. Conclusion: resulted substantial low infections longer term necessary.
