摘要: To clearly see a moving object, an observer must rotate his or her eyes with velocity that matches of the object. Such rotations are called smooth pursuit eye movements, and they depend critically on ability primate brain to integrate information about object from various local motion signals. When signals in conflict, it is possible use movements as continuous read-out integration process. This review discusses results recent behavioral experiments have taken this approach, along relevant neurophysiological computational studies.
