摘要: The overall objective of this study was to measure the air pollutant concentrations inside and outside diesel truck cabs under conditions extended idling at a stop. measurements were conducted different modes engine conditioner operation times day night. One-hour average fine particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide measured. All trucks showed some level self-contamination in-cab quality from emissions during idling. Some significantly higher than concentrations, indicating compartment leaks into cab. Other similar or even lower but when turned off. In these cases, raised which then migrated Carbon measured in cab insignificant compared with relevant standards, matter dioxide U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ambient standards.
