摘要: Recent guidelines for incarcerated women's programming have called interventions that address offenders' traumatic experiences, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use in an integrated manner. Seeking Safety (SS) is empirically supported cognitive behavioral manualized treatment individuals with PTSD disorders. This study examined the effectiveness of SS 59 women who completed intervention 55 were waitlisted. Participants demonstrated greater symptom improvement depression as well improved interpersonal functioning coping compared to waitlisted offenders. These findings provide preliminary support this women.
