摘要: Abstract Reservoir simulators have long become primary reservoir engineering tools for simulating fluid flow in porous media, recovery analyses and performance evaluation the oil gas industry. This review focuses on recent advancement development representation of conventional advanced well models used media since last subject (Demetri Farouq, 1993). Well been developed to different degrees sophistication resulting significant positive impact numerical simulation performance. In spite complexities these successes recorded with them predicting performances, some predictions made cases do not match actual field performances. The major factors contributing observed models' limitations are emphasized future perspectives next generation which suitable more efficient, comprehensive, faster highly scalable enhanced computing capabilities advised.
