摘要: In the foregoing chapter, general formulas have been presented for calculating rates of elementary processes on a uniform surface with allowance lateral interactions between adsorbed particles. present these are used to analyze effect interaction kinetics various surface. The subject is treated in terms theory. It shown, instance, what effects result from positive (repulsion) and negative (attraction) interaction. Readers interested applying equations description particular experimental results referred original publications (cited as discussed) or next chapter which deals some reactions studied detail under high-vacuum conditions.
