摘要: Brewster cut CdSe crystals pumped by the P1(8) line of an HF laser were used to amplify optical signals at 16 μm. The source was a OPO P2(7) from same laser. configuration both pump beams such that flat radial intensity profiles produced respective crystals, eliminating need for confocal focusing. gain bandwidth measured and found be in reasonable agreement with theory. second order nonlinear susceptibility first time μm fair values determined shorter wavelengths scaled through Miller's Δ.© (1980) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society Optical Engineering.
