摘要: Denmark has a long tradition of monitoring the aquatic environment. Previous mainly focused on loss nutrients and subsequent impacts biological structure in lakes coastal areas. However, as part third Action Plan for Aquatic Environment more emphasis been put stream ecology. The present paper describes background, strategy content new NOVANA programme, which will run period 2004–2009. programme encompass than 800 stations covering all types include three quality elements (macrophytes, macroinvertebrates fish) well physico-chemical features hydromorphological elements. In addition, integrates both itself riparian zone. Compliance with important European Commission Directives such Water Framework Directive Habitat is discussed.
