摘要: Global population aging is creating an immense pressure on healthcare facilities making them unable to cope with the growing demand for elderly services. Current demand-supply gaps result in prolonged waiting times patients and substantial cost burdens systems due delayed discharges. This paper describes a project aimed at presenting modeling simulation address care pathways within Irish sector. The management of frail admitted acute hospitals introduction new intermediate beds are alternative interventions that executives interested simulating examine their impact performance system. developed model, along statistical analysis, have enabled assess current system under critical financial issues. It also highlights decision variables significantly improve flow patients.
