摘要: The hip replacement joint has an outer support shell (1) which is fused to the bone structure and a separate inner (2) forms socket for joint. located in via two conical taper profiles, with slope of steeper than that shell. This ensures contact region (4) nearer tapers are between 18 deg 20 arc difference 0' 20'. one or more recesses (10) into tool can be placed prise away from shell, replacement.
