摘要: Rasch modelling was conducted by applying the lifetime NODS criteria using data from a national representative sample aged 15 to 74 years in Norway (N = 5235). To large extent, results replicated previous findings, supporting view that DSM-IV gambling symptoms have unidimensional structure. Differential item functioning (DIF) analysis indicated younger gamblers (aged 15–25 years) were more likely endorse symptom of ‘chasing’ than older gamblers. Likewise, DIF female report ‘escape’ at lower levels problem males. Moreover, showed less ‘withdrawal’ and ‘loss control’ As may be explained age gender-specific correlates (or behaviour), future studies should include extended groups (e.g. 12–75 or conduct on specific adolescent instruments.
