摘要: Abstract Anaerobic bacteria were isolated from the subdural space in all four cases of empyema encountered over a 2 12 year period. Only one aerobe was these cases. The bacteriology further analyzed review 327 reported English literature. Anaerobes accounted for per cent 234 In addition, 27 reportedly "sterile." These data support our finding that anaerobic may play far more important role than previously appreciated.
