摘要: E605 aims to study the production of single hadrons, pairs hadrons and dileptons at large transverse momenta in 800 GeV proton-nucleus collisions. The design feature detector can be summarized as follows: 1. Measurement particles with high pT up 10 GeV/c or higher. 2. High mass resolution less than 0.2% for pairs. 3. Excellent identification particle species e/μ/π/K/p. 4. High luminosity a angular acceptance.
