摘要: ABSTRACT Antibiotic growth promoters have been widely used in poultry to improve overall performance. The emergence of antibiotic resistance has resulted sanctions imposed on the use antibiotics diets, and alternatives such as herbal extracts are being considered aim this study was compare performance feed digestibility supplement Novacid, which contains organic acids, glucomannan, phytochemicals, with that promoter bacitracin methylene disalicylate (BMD) commercial broiler chickens. Six hundred 1-d-old Ross × 308 male chicks were randomly equally assigned six treatment groups five replicates each (20 per replicate). fed a corn–soybean meal basal diet, divided into two groups: unchallenged challenged E. coli (400 mg/kg Escherichia inoculation). Each these three untreated, treated 0.05% 400 mg/kg BMD. At day 42, inclusion Novacid or BMD significantly (P
