摘要: Previously, assays of fibrin-fibrinogen degradation products (FDP) had to be performed on serum samples. However, monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) are now available which permit the measurement FDP directly in plasma. We have employed two Mabs, one monospecific for originating from crosslinked fibrin and another panspecific fraction, determine normal levels plasma serum. The Mab gave a value 40 ng FDP/ml 10 ng/ml serum, while level recorded using was greater than 1000 ng/ml, at all concentrations thrombin employed. Similarly, when solution purified fibrinogen treated with thrombin, concentration present clot supernatant assayed Mab. Thus during preparation as much 75% native is incorporated into excess laboratory generated FDP, probably incompletely polymerized fibrin, measured antisera. These data indicate that current polyclonal not reliable reflection vivo. use FDP-specific Mabs do react recommended future
