Decline in mortality from coronary heart disease in Finland from 1969 to 1979.

摘要: The trends in mortality from coronary heart disease the 1970s and differences between counties within Finland were calculated official statistics among population aged 35 to 64 years. During this period declined by a mean of 1.1% for men 2.3% women annually whole Finland. A community based cardiovascular control programme was started 1972 North Karelia, county east decline 1969 1979 24% 51% women. rest over same 12% Karelia greater than that other both difference exceeded random variation, with 95% likelihood sexes. Even adjustment rates before 1974 cross-county multiple regression analyses persisted. Although further studies are needed, changes suggest preventive has been effective.
