摘要: In FDD cellular standards, the transmitter's out of-band noise leaks into receive band due to finite duplexer TX RX isolation. If this is not low enough, a SAW filter needed before Power Amplifier preserve sensitivity. Out-of-band also an important concern for coexistence of transmitters with standards like GPS, WLAN and/or WiMAX on same smart phone, very common scenario nowadays. The SAW-less RX-band challenge becomes even more acute in Long-Term Evolution (LTE) standard [1] where will need operate multiple bands, using wider channel bandwidths and higher Peak-to-Average Ratios (PAPR).
