摘要: Abstract Single room accommodation (SRA) housing is among the only forms of accessible to marginalized women who use illicit drugs in many urban settings. However, SRA environments may create specific health and drug risks for women. Little research has examined gendered mechanisms contributing vulnerability subsequent ways they aim mitigate harm. This study examines vulnerabilities to, harms stemming from, evictions from SRAs Vancouver, Canada. Qualitative interviews were conducted with 56 people recently evicted (past 60 days) Vancouver's Downtown Eastside neighbourhood, 19 whom identified as which informed this analysis. Participants recruited by Peer Researcher Assistants baseline follow-up three six months later. Interview transcripts analyzed thematically interpreted drawing on concepts social violence.
