Methods Eight subscales 112 initial items developed from concepts data grounded theory study patients' perspectives their Fifty-nine resulted an expert panel's review content validity. Construct validity tested using exploratory factor analysis. Principal components analyses (PCA) promax (oblique) rotation conducted. Criteria item retention loading greater than or equal 0.4 unambiguous on one factor. Internal consistency reliability determined coefficient alpha. Findings PCA yielded four factors that explained 81% variance. Three forced four-factor solutions required all meet criteria. final included 40 (alpha = 0.99) subscales: responsiveness (22 items, alpha 0.99), individualization (10, 0.97), coordination (3, 0.87), proficiency (5, 0.95). A short form (18 0.97) created stepwise regression. Conclusions Psychometric properties indicated both OPPQNCS forms adequately care patient's perspective.
