摘要: The absence of a model to predict near wall viscosity complex suspensions instigated an investigation for new method determine the shear stress. If inner flow is covered with highly flexible gel layer, local stress will deform this layer. Through known properties measured deformation can be transformed To measure speckle pattern interferometry was applied. performance developed apparatus evaluated using well-controlled benchmark experiment, and resolution 50 nm achieved. layer in two-dimensional rectangular duct, Newtonian non-Newtonian measuring fluid. stresses were as function rate compared theoretical predictions, results demonstrated potential method.
