摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the ferroelectric phase transition and interaction of charge in amorphous with polar crystallites. It describes experimental investigations that are based a detailed analysis pyroelectric response dielectric nonlinearities. Polymer ferroelectrics like poly(vinylidene fluoride) its copolymers trifluoroethylene intrinsically two-phase systems consisting crystalline regions surrounded by material. Connected covalent bondings, coupling dipoles along polymer chain is much stronger than an anorganic crystal. The interest these materials motivated fundamental high potential for applications. Although many polymers regularly repeating structure can crystallize, crystals microscopic size generally self-connected three dimensions. A simple versatile method orienting wide variety liquid-crystalline including presented chapter. technique deposition highly oriented ultra-thin films poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) rubbing glass substrate. Materials, particular linear molecules, grown coated surface show remarkable degree alignment. Common to organization different molecules direction their molecular axes PTFE.
