摘要: Persons living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) are longer and therefore more likely to suffer significant morbidity due potentially treatable liver diseases. Liver diseases alone have been shown a negative effect on one's health-related quality of life (HRQOL). Clinical evidence suggests that persons HIV disease, growing number individuals, may poorer HRQOL than who do not disease. Thus, this study examined the multiple components by testing Wilson Cleary's model in disease using structural equation modeling. This secondary analysis used de-identified baseline medical record review data from parent interventions improve medication adherence (R01 NR04749). The Cleary include: biological/physiological factors (HIV viral load, CD4 counts), symptom status (Beck Depression Inventory II, Medical Outcomes Study Health Survey [MOS-HIV] mental function), functional (missed appointments, MOS-HIV physical general health perceptions (Perceived burden visual analogue scale, transition), overall QOL (Satisfaction Life Scale, QOL). Characteristics individual environment were also explored. (1995) was found be useful linking clinical indicators patient-related outcomes. findings provide foundation for development future targeted bio-behavioral nursing intervention
