摘要: The thermal conductivity of soils is a key factor in calculating soil heat transfer and analyzing the temperature fields geotechnical engineering projects cold regions. In this study, investigations have been carried out with respect to effect (T), concentration sodium chloride (C), water content (w) on clay soil. A series model applied develop new theoretical equation that relates temperature. addition, ultrasonic testing used determine volume unfrozen frozen results show freezing temperatures samples an NaCl salt 0%, 2%, 5% are − 2 °C, 4 8 °C respectively. can explain relationship between There exponential function for at below freezing. small reduction salt-free due propagation frost heave cracks from 6 10 °C. An increase electrolyte solution would compress electrical double layer, thus leading contact surface particles. When increased 5%, flocculation occurs quadratic increases higher above decreases when frozen. generalized relationships be evaluate saline
