摘要: In this paper, regular low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes have been applied for the first time to a low cost spectrum-sliced WDM system. The Gaussian approximation of noise in such system has commonly used previous studies, and there is standard LDPC code symmetric additive white (AWGN) channels. However, considered here actual character asymmetric chi-square distributed. Due specific channel property, an adaptive decoding algorithm based on precise statistics proposed. Simulations are conducted various rates. results show that forward error correction scheme provides significant coding gain dedicated outperforms with conventional approximations.
