摘要: To explore the efficacy and safety of multiple-dose oral tranexamic acid (TXA) on blood loss following primary total hip arthroplasty (THA). A 152 patients were randomized into three groups to receive 2 g TXA two hours  pre-operatively (group A), or another bolus four hours post-operatively B), boluses four, ten, 16 C). The outcomes (TBL), hidden (HBL), transfusion rate. secondary haemoglobin (Hb) haematocrit (Hct) drop, level fibrinolysis parameters (fibrin degradation products, D-dimer), complications (thrombotic diseases, stroke, cardiac infarction, infection). mean TBL HBL in group C lower than those (p   0.05). Multiple could further reduce loss, Hb Hct restrain post-operative THA without increasing risk complications. Therapeutic study.
