摘要: Increased erythrocyte 3-DG and AGEs in diabetic hemodialysis patients: Role of the polyol pathway. Background 3-Deoxyglucosone (3-DG) accumulating uremic serum plays an important role formation advanced glycation end products (AGEs). To determine if is involved intracellular AGEs, we measured levels such as imidazolone Ne-carboxymethyllysine (CML) (HD) patients with diabetes. Further, to pathway aldose reductase inhibitor (ARI) was administered these patients. Methods The sorbitol, 3-DG, imidazolone, CML were ten HD before after treatment ARI (epalrestat) for eight weeks, compared those eleven healthy subjects. incubated vitro hemoglobin two weeks are formed by reacting hemoglobin. Results significantly elevated decreased HD, but or did not. administration tended decrease level. Imidazolone rapidly produced incubating hemoglobin, also produced, less markedly imidazolone. Conclusion reduces especially well sorbitol. Thus, erythrocytes mainly via may prevent complications associated AGEs.
