摘要: A stability analysis of a rapidly stretching jet satisfying the equations motion for perfectly plastic material is presented. It found that depends on dimensionless parameter Γ measures importance inertial forces relative to forces. This decreasing function time. will be shown jets with initially very large stable until decreases order unity. These then go unstable and break up into drops whose axial dimension comparable their radius. Jets small always unstable. these tend Γ−1/5 times
