An ultra thin electric field driven LC resonator structure as metamaterial absorber for dual band applications

摘要: This paper describes the electric field driven LC (ELC) resonator structure behaving as microwave absorbers at two different frequencies for application of battlefield and air borne radar. The proposed ELC metamaterial is simulated subsequently optimized using Ansoft HFSS which shows an absorption peak 5.46 GHz 9.54 with absorbance 99.1% 99.9% respectively S11 minima -21.4 dB -29.2 respectively. also behaves absorber upto angular incidence 60°.
