摘要: Abstract Introduction Osteopathic care may support an individual's adaptive capacity, including allostatic regulation and tissue changes in both health disease. The palpatory findings which osteopaths claim are related to be linked load. However, this putative link has not been formally investigated. Methods We conducted a scoping review critically appraise the relevant literature on relationship between processes alterations. This evaluates use relevance of osteopathic care. searched PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane library for research exploring links adaptation, allostasis (OPF). Results Recent studies provide insights into role body systems' responses These results new OPF clinical practice. Discussion build upon our propose model Conclusion Although phenomena associated with biologically plausible, it lacks necessary underpinning evidence. Arguably, classical focus diagnosis palpable fails integrate biological, social neuropsychological aspects such as stress responses. Tissue alterations load markers have less studied. involved process useful practitioners field manual therapy, particularly osteopathy. that one multidimensional inform decision-making. they should considered within biopsychosocial perspective taking account concepts regulation.
